Eco-dyeing Workshop + Foraging Walk Along The River Rea
When: Saturday 21st September, 1-5pm

Note: All materials included but we recommend you collect some fallen flower petals from your garden or from along your street.
Ecoprinting is the practice of transfering colours and patterns from organic matter onto fabric. It's a fun and exciting method of creating beautiful textiles at home. It's the perfect mindfulness activity or fun family activity.
In this full-day workshop (1-5pm) we'll provide you with everything you need and explain how they work. Step by step we'll go through the mordant process, a foraging walk along the River Rea and the different methods you can use to eco-print.
Hipkiss & Graney will supply everything you need as well as more to take away with you so you can continue to experiment with your new skill at home.

The proceeds from this workshop will go towards next years Woodland Games 2025 project. It's one of a number of fundraising activities we are doing to pay for our storage unit, workshop space and raise the match funding to make sure we can deliver next years community art project.
